Former MP and Kargil war widow Sudha Yadav has been appointed Governor of Karnataka and was sworn in at a ceremony at Lok Bhavan in Bengaluru. She succeeds Thaawarchand Gehlot and becomes only the second woman to hold the constitutional post in the state.
